Man found dead in Ithaca

ITHACA -- At about 1:00 PM on Sunday afternoon, Ithaca Police were called to a residence in the 100 block of Fayette Street in the City of Ithaca.  The call was due to a man in his 30s that had been found unresponsive and not breathing, according to the Ithaca Police Department.

Police, the Ithaca Fire Department, and Bangs Ambulance personnel evaluated the man and pronounced him dead a short time later.

Officials are not releasing the man's name until his family is notified.

There is an ongoing investigation into the incident.
