Man crushed beneath truck
TOWN OF SCHROEPPEL -- New York State Police in Fulton report that a man in the Town of Schroeppel, in Oswego County, died Saturday, December 15th at 10:57 am after a truck he was working on fell off its support and crushed him.
Police say Ronald E. Hollenbeck, 50, was working on the rear axle of the truck with the wheels off when the jack apparently slipped, pinning him.
Police say a family member found him shortly after and called 911.
Hollenbeck was pronounced dead on the scene.
