Man stabbed in convenience store on South Ave. prompts investigation by Syracuse police

SYRACUSE -- Syracuse police are investigating a stabbing that happened at about 12:15 AM on January 6th at the Upstate Convenience Market at 919 South Ave.

Police say that upon arriving at the scene they found a 21-year-old male with a non-life threatening stab wound.

Police found that the victim was confronted by two men, one of whom stabbed him. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call Syracuse police at (315) 442-5222.
