DEWITT -- Investigators identified more victims in the case against a DeWitt chiropractor and licensed massage therapist, first arrested for sexual abuse in December.

Dr. Eli Guterman, 30, was arrested on December 17, accused of touching four women inappropriately, at his practice, the Back N Touch Wellness Center.

Guterman now faces two additional counts of sexual abuse and forcible touching for inappropriately touching victims at his office on East Genesee Street.

The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office started its investigation last summer.

According to court documents, the four women involved in the original charges were all under the age of 30. Two were receptionists, who said Guterman frequently gave them long hugs, and two others, also licensed massage therapists, say they were harassed when applying for a job at Guterman's office.

Since these complaints, detectives say they have answered more than 20 calls, and identified nine others who said they had similar experiences.

Investigators say five of the nine accounts fall outside the statute of limitations. The new charges relate to the remaining four victims' stories.

Detectives say these instances of inappropriate contact happened between September 2010 and May 2011 at the Black N Touch Center.

Guterman was arraigned in Town of DeWitt Court Thursday afternoon, and released on his own recognizance. The chiropractor is due back in court on Tuesday, January 22.
