ROME, NY -- Rome Police say nine individuals were arrested following an undercover alcohol initiative Saturday night.
Police say alcohol was sold to a minor at 9 of the 17 locations they checked in Rome.
Nine bartenders were arrested and charged with first degree unlawfully dealing with a child, a misdemeanor, after serving alcohol to a minor.
Locations where alcohol was sold to a minor were:
Korps Corner, 800 West Dominick Street
Applebee’s, 1794 Black River Blvd.
Palisades Hotel, 1921 North James Street
Trace’s, 1109 Oneida Street
Bucky’s, 1305 Floyd Ave.
DeMatteo’s Bar, 705 East Dominick Street
Lupia’s Bar, 701 East Dominick Street
The Mill Bar, 611 East Dominick Street
Philly’s Bar, 415 West Dominick Street
