PHOENIX -- A Phoenix man is accused of sex abuse involving an 11-year-old child.
State Police say they arrested Ryan J. Pontello, 21, of County Route 12, on Monday following an investigation into a 2011 incident. It was alleged that Pontello had sexual contact with a child under the age of 11-years-old in the Town of Palermo, Oswego County.
Pontello is charged with one count of felony sexual abuse first degree and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.
Pontello was remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility on $2,500 cash bail, $5,000 secured bond and is due back in court on March 11.
