The wind will shift from southwesterly to northwesterly and this will create colder temperatures throughout the region.

The high on Wednesday will be 29 degrees and the low is expected to be 8.  Temperatures will drop throughout the day with wind chills around 10-15 degrees by the afternoon and 5-10 degrees later in the evening.

There is a system organizing that could dump up to 6 inches on the Syracuse area and 6-9 inches on areas north from Thursday into Friday.
