SYRACUSE -- Temperatures will work in reverse, getting colder throughout the day, and there will be rain on Tuesday, according to meteorologist Peter Hall.

Occasional rain showers are likely through the morning and midday. Rain will slowly taper off from west to east, with rain lasting longest east of the I-81 corridor.
Temperatures will fall from the 50s and 40s and may dip into the 30s briefly.
Some snow showers are likely especially Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
